Early Life and Education

Ryan was born in the Yankton, South Datoka in 1980. He was raised in Tabor, SD and attended Bon Homme High School in Tyndall. He graduated from St. Cloud State University, where he attained a Bachelor of Science Degree, Community Psychology. He has fathered 3 beautiful daughters Ella, Adley, and Elin.

Professional Life

Upon graduating, Ryan Kortan started his career working for Wells Fargo Financial Sioux Falls, SD, as a Home Equity Sales Consultant and quickly found himself managing sales teams for Wells Fargo Financials. He was soon giving sales coaching and product training for over 400 team members in the Northeastern and Southern Regions of Wells Fargo Financial. His roles demanded him to deliver exceptional communication and training for all National and Regional product roll-outs and changes to each level of management.

Serving five brilliant years as a dedicated sales Development Consultant, he followed his heart to Hegg Realtors, where he would pursue his childhood dream of real estate.
